"...it takes a long time..."

we were reminded again today about how long the healing process takes. the doctor told us that he would prefer to sedate dad further again because he feels that his body is not ready yet. we will try to ween him off of the sedation meds in a couple of days. dad's blood pressure is still elevated at times and his respiration is up and down. it is difficult to have to wait especially after living off of a "high" of improvement like yesterday. pray for patience and endurance. pray that mom continues to stay healthy as most of us have already been sick at one point or another. thanks again for your constant love and support. we do sense the Spirit because of your prayers.

Maley Family,

My rule of thumb in life is, when you're thinking of someone, you need to talk to them- so I am.
God Bless each and every one of you Warriors of Christ. May the Holy Spirit fuel you tonight, tomorrow and through this whole time. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord watch over your children while you are absent from them and being awesome Witnesses for Jesus Christ.
Christ stands guard over that awesome man; Jim Maley.

Make sure your mom takes her medicine since I am not there to remind her anymore :) I will continue to pray for Jim and all of you. And remember through Christ all things are possible. I will continue to check the blog to keep updated on whats going on with Jim and all of you, but feel free to call if you need anything or just want to talk..day or night.

Hello Sue and Family,
We have been out of town for the week end and could not wait to get back in here and check on you all. Again we are so thankful for your updates..I was saying to Steve how anxious I was
to check back and how wonderful the modern technology is... like being able to watch the war on TV as we did with Desert Storm etc... this blog is similar, watching your war with another battle for the Maley family...you are the most resiliant family I know, thru test after test.. and I know you give The Lord all the credit... you are once again an amazing testimony of God's goodness and grace in the midst of tremendous turmoil. We continue to pray for miracle after miracle for Jim and strength and endurance for each of you. It brought tears to my eyes as I read what I think was probably from your boss that you mentioned Sue, sharing such a wonderful passage of scripture
to lift you up and encourage you..
how very blessed you are.
We love you.

I am continuing to pray for Jim and your whole family. The road may be long, but at least you are not alone! Just when you feel like giving up, I pray that your will feel the loving arms of Christ wrapped around you. His strength is sufficent and will be able to keep you going no matter how long or hard this journey may be. Stay strong! Many people are lifting Jim up in prayer.
Love,
sara

Dear Sue and family,

We sang this song in church today and thought of you as we sang.

"Still I Will Worship You"

I will worship you in the midnight hour. I will worship you when I'm in the fire. I will worship you when all hope seems gone. I will stand and proclaim that you are my God. I will worship you.

I know that you are strong. I know you're more than able. To save me from whatever, ever comes my way.
I know you are a healer. I know you can deliver. I know that you can rescue me. But even when I cannot see your hand. When you move in a way that I would not have planned. Still I will worship you.

We're continuing to pray for all of you and love you very much!

God Bless You,

Kurt & Marilyn

This prayer helps me through the valleys and trials of my life... Today for some reason I felt an urge to remind myself and share it.

Serenity Prayer
God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace. Taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it:Trusting that you will make all things right if I surrender to your will; that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with you forever in the next. Amen.

I love you all, and I am lifting all of you up in my prayers continually.

Dear Maley Family,

Thank you for the updates. It's wonderful to know the progress being made as well as to know what to pray for even though I'm a couple thousand miles away. Anna, you especially have been on my heart and I'm praying for you. God is so good, and I know you all must be so very thankful for how He's taken care of Jim thus far! Thinking of you, Heather (LeFavour) Eddy

Maley Family,
I was just reading and wanted to encourage you with a verse, I thought it fit perfectly for this day in the long battle...."I will rain down bread from heavan" remembering how day by day God sent down nourishment from heaven, There was always simply enough for that day. So when you don't know if you can make it through until tommorrow, just remember sometimes God only gives us enough for that day. Also Psalms 145:15 "and you give them their foos at the proper time." God will give you the food (strength, grace, PATIENCE & stamina) to make it through this tough time.
Jim, is loved by many as are all of you, stay strong and keep the faith!
With all my love,
Misty (Schultz) Wallin

Dear friends,

We learned of your vigil from Bendi. We are members of the same church and she asked for prayer.

We thought you would be comforted with the fact that we share your burden, and you are prayed for daily. We ask the Lord's strength and comfort for you. We ask His healing for Jim. We beg His grace and mercy for you all, and that He wrap you in His arms at the beginning of each day.

we don't know you personally, but you are loved as if we do. We check every day to learn of the days events regarding Jim and all of you, so that we can be specific as we kneel before the Lord in prayer.

In Jesus Christ's love,

a part of your Chritian family

Sue and Family
As I have mentioned before you all are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that you have a strong family and a long line of friends that are lifting you up.

I also know that Doctor Young is a good doctor as he is treating my grandma. I know he will be nothing but honset with you all. Trust that God is guiding his hands.

Know that I think of you often and I pray for you every time I think of you. I pray that Jim is healed.

Know this...."when you are down to nothing, God is lifting you up"

Stay strong and my family and I will continue to lift you up in prayers.

Love,

Amanda Matt regan and Devan Kosteck
