Moving Day!

Moving day came quickly. Friday afternoon it was decided that Jim's return to Parkview would be imminent. Packing up all that we had accumulated in the 5 week stay and hugging goodbye all our new friends at St Joe Select, we began our next step in the healing process. Due to forthcoming paperwork from the VA, Jim is on the 5th floor rehab, room 515. Hopefully we will soon get him moved to 4th floor, intensive rehab. Praise God that we have come this far! It has now been over 10 weeks.

If you still would like to know how you can pray for him, this would be one we would request. That his paperwork would go through as we hope and there will not be any setbacks. Also, that he will adjust to the changes and not take a step backwords. He is getting impatient with the halo and it has caused some concern. Also, I have been down with a bug and my family has been overloaded with extra of my time. We are all getting tired. Pray we will not fall down, but finish the race.

Again, and again, thank you all for your support and prayers. The journey continues, with God leading the way. I do not know the end, but I do know the Keeper of the end. May God bless each and every one of you.

Lord Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon Jim's body tonight. Continue the work You have begun in him. We ask for Your peace to permeate his room, and for Your presence to fill his soul with a calmness.

Give his family extra strength and wisdom for all decisions. We ask that all paperwork go quickly as well.

God bless you, Maley family.

thank you Sue for the update..
your requests have been heard and
are being lifted up.
A verse that I have been meditating on the last week or so is from Ps
90 and says "teach us to number our
days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom " ...
that is what The Lord is doing thru you and Jim and your family Susie
for all of us who will watch and listen and take heed.
thank you.

Dear Maley's,

Know that you are being held up daily before our Father's throne. It has to be so hard to keep putting one foot in front of the other as you walk along this unfamiliar path, but as you say, you know the Keeper of the path--and that makes all the difference in the "dailyness" of our lives, doesn't it?

We're asking God to speed Jim's paperwork along so he can be moved to the intensive therapy floor. Jim has been making wonderful progress and we're praying that it continues.

We hope you are feeling better, too, Sue. We'll keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers as you balance the demands that fill your lives at this moment.

Take care.

Love and Prayers,

Rosa and Ken
