it's monday morning...

dr. young is back today (the one that did the surgery). dad's vitals are the same...the ICP (internal cranial pressure) is hanging around 7 or so and they said that any sustained number under 20 is good. there are some specific things that you can pray for outside of an overall miracle. please pray that infection or pnemonia doesn't set in (evidently, there is a pretty high chance of this the longer time goes on). also pray that there ar no blood clots as a result of laying down so long.. we were reminded again that this is/will be a very long process. thanks for lifting us up.

We are praying for Jim! So sad to hear of this, but grateful that we have God who sustains us, knows us and NEVER gives us more to endure than we can stand. Thanks for the updates.

Sue & Family - We are praying for Jim and you too! Even though we know your family mostly thru Jim & Patty, you feel like our family too and we truly want the best for all of you. Hang in there and know that you are loved and thought of every day throughout the day!!!

Anna and I were talking in the middle of the night, night before last about how God uses these types of tragic situations to change us to be more like him. It makes you realize what things (for those who know him as their personal savior) still need to be worked on. With God's strength and grace those will change. I know Jim knows the Lord but what of those of you who don't? Would you be ready to face the Lord if you were in Jim's place. Thank God Jim is! Whatever happens from this day forward Jim is secure. What about you? If you're not ready if this crisis were to happen to you or aren't sure you are ready to die, go to this link http://www.gotquestions.org/Romans-road-salvation.html
to find out more about how to be saved. Sometimes the Lord uses His people and their situations to call your name.

I wanted you guys to know that the teachers of BCS are praying for your dad this week during devotions. What a special time this AM, as we broke into groups of two or three people, to hear over and over again your dad's name lifted up. As specific needs arise, please let me know and we will concentrate our efforts.

Dear Sue and family,

Marilyn and I have experienced first hand the power of prayer and God's faithfulness. We are praying that you too will know God's peace and his will for your life. We believe these types of things are brought into our lives to change us and to glorify Him. We are praying for you daily and want you to know we love you all very much.

Maley's,
I was blessed to spend the weekend at camp with Cade and Chelsey (Chelsey was in my small group). It obvious how much they love their grandpa and their family. We spent time in our small group talking about Jeremiah 29:11 God knows the plans He has for us, plans to prosper not harm..we then focused on the the next verse 29:12 "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you". He hears your prayers and the prayers of so many crying out for Jim and your family! We will continue in prayer for you all!

Sue, Jason, Andy, Anna and Joe...my heart was crushed when Mom & Dad told me what had happened.
I'm sure there are many questions and not enough answers. We will continue to pray that the Lord will give you the answers you need at this time and the months ahead.

When mom called me on friday night I was at church helping set up a marriage conference, and we stopped right then and began praying for Jim. We have not stopped, and there are several people here in Moultrie, GA lifting Jim up to the Lord in prayer. Nothing is impossible for the Great Lord we serve and I have been clinging to that when praying for him. What is comforting is that God is in control and he knows exactly how and when this will all work out. Robert and I are praying and I am glad my mom told me about this site so that we can pray for specific things. I am thankful for your family and your dad.
I wanted to send you all 2 verses that , hopefully, will bring you some comfort. I will be taking them to the cross for you all that you may feel comfort and compassion that only comes from our wonderful savior.
Is. 49:13
"Shout for joy, O Heavens;
rejoice, O earth;burst into song o mountains!
For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones."
Lam 3:22-23
But for the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. The are new each morning; GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS!

Now I just want to sing "Great is thy Faithfulness" I hope you all can sing in your hearts as your are before the Lord!

Love you all!

I know this tough guy - because I had to work for him before! Jim is a tough guy and I know he is going to fight. But I also know God is sovereign and His will be done.

Jim also has an amazing family there by his side and he is truly blessed.

The Barkhuas family is praying that the peace that surpasses all understanding will be given - hang in there

We are praying for Jim and your entire family. Your family is amazing and will come through this trial stronger than ever! Sue, I miss you! I am praying for your physical strength as you minister to Jim and your family. Let me know if we can do anything for you or if you just need an ear or a shoulder.
Just yesterday in the sermon Josh Rang said, "nothing ever happens that doesn't bring glory to God and good to us." Hang on to this truth!

I was just walking and talking with Jim at Ed's funeral... just 24 hours before he was with EMS on the way to the hospital. Anna and I were asking him questions about his father and I was savoring his family information!!!! Happy Memories of Jim and I have been flooding my mind lately. I can not help but smile. He told me I was one of a kind this summer and He truely in every awesome way is "one of a kind" as well! I love you so much Jim!--- Nettie

Mrs Maley, Andy,Jason,Joe, and family

Just wanted to let you know that our church community is praying for the Jim Maley family. Your father has been very inspiring to me in both my faith and business life. When I first opened my store your Dad would stop in every other day it seemed and offer me words of encouragement, and give me a pointer on a construction project I had started. Your Dad numerous times would stop by and say how proud he was of his kids, and how much he enjoyed the grand kids over the weekend. I look forward to the day when he will stop by again with his trademark laugh and humor. Your Dad is intelligent, caring, kind, forgiving, and a faithful man.
Your friend,
Bob Morris
