a new dipstick...

dr. young came in this morning and decided that a new ICP monitor should be put in. he wanted to be able to monitor what was going on with the brain a little closer again. he said that there wasn't really any change one way or the other this weekend from what he can see. his numbers (blood pressure, etc) have been pretty stable. doc reminded us again not to focus on the numbers....he said it will "drive us bonkers". mom and i talked this morning and thought it would be good to spend the day praising God that dad has made it this long and that he has already overcome a lot of obsticles this week. thanks for your prayers and comments, they are very encouraging to us.

Jason and family

I just wanted to let you know that I continue on an almost daily basis (I sometimes forget) to pray for your Dad and all of you. I know this is a very hard time for all of you. We know God will do what He thinks is best. We just need to keep trusting him.
I was happy to read that there has been some improvement, however.
I'll keep praying and will bring it to our Ladies Prayer group that meets on Tuesday morning

I was going to wait and write this
in a card, but felt moved to tell you here... do you know how many people are talking to the Lord because of this situation with your family?
literally hundreds of people are spending time with their Jesus instead of doing something else...
an up side of a down situation.

Dear Sue and wonderful family, We have been, and will continue to pray unceasingly for you..I echo the gratitude for the daily updates;I can check them at work at night and pray throughout the night for you; we have a lot to pray about on a daily basis, it seems, and it is our good pleasure to specifically lift you up too! When we faced one of life's trials, one of the kids made a poster to hang on the wall that said,"Obstacles become opportunities with God"....I think that has been an understatement for us, and I pray, for you too..just remember, He gives you the grace for today...don't think about tomorrow..He'll give you grace then too when you need it..focus on the joy and peace you can muster today, and we are always here for you, if there is any large or small thing we can do. We love you all very much, John and Lorraine Sommer and family

I can't even count the number of times I caught myself thinking of you all today. I miss you and hope each of you gets a good night sleep. Kelli if you are alone tonight I will be with you in spirit to protect you :) So go to sleep! Give each other a big hug goodnight from me and have sweet dreams.

" For God so loved the world that He gave His ONE and only SON, that whoever believes in HIM shall not perish but have eternal life"

John 3:16

There have been countless talks between Jim and I over many years of what a fine gift OUR LORD has given to us...Jesus. He would always become emotional when he would share the fact that OUR LORD loved him and wanted a personal relationship with him. Nothing could get in the way of Jim's bond with a loving LORD...and the assurance of HIS Salvation through Jesus Christ.

Continue to bring Jim before our LORD...Jesus

Wanted to tell you that I"ll uphold you in my prayers, and sooo sorry that you all have to go through this.
I remember that some years back, Jim and Sue, you did alot for Blackhawk Single Mom's at your home for a number of times, and we never forgot that! Thank you! Your family is wonderful, and I'm praying for complete healing.
