Realized another week has gone by so thought I should drop you all a line. Dad is moving along. He has difficult days and good days but being the strong man that he is, gets through them. The VA hospital has been wonderful to dad. They are very attentive to his needs and are always looking for a better way to get him to the next step.

This week dads visiting hours were cut to how often mom and the family saw dad in order to move him past the fixation of going home so that he could focus on his therapy. Although this has been hard on mom to only see dad 1 hr a day, and the kids 2 hrs at a time on the weekends, the process seems to be working for dad. He is now partcipating in his therapy again and handles us coming and going in a calmer manner. We know this is temporary and will do what it takes for him to get better.

During the times we are not visiting the hosptial has activities planned all day to keep dad busy and more occupied with getting better, we are thankful for all the staff that take care him. Continue to pray for the healing of his brain and neck injuries.

It's always encouraging to hear of the progress he is making. I will continue to pray!

Will also be praying for the family, as I can't imagine how difficult it is to be kept to such time limitations.

God bless.

Kelli,
I know this is hard on all of you, just keep doing the best you can, one day at a time as they say. I think of you often.

Dear Maley's,

It's so good to know that Jim continues to improve. It's amazing to think back to when this all started. God has and continues to work a miracle.

We're glad to hear that Jim is receiving good care at the VA in Indy. We'll pray for wisdom for all of the doctors, nurses and therapists who are interacting with Jim.

I know it must be difficult to limit your time with Jim, but hopefully it will produce the desired results--as it seems to be doing already.

Ken and I think of you so often and pray for God to meet your every need. We will also ask God to completely heal Jim's neck so the halo can be removed.

Thanks for the updates. We really appreciate them. They make us feel so much closer to all of you.

Love in Christ,

Rosa and Ken

gees.......that has to be really
hard to not be able to be with him :(
I'm sure it was an important move
to make or they would not have done it. It's wonderful to hear again and again that the staff is sooo good
with Jim... each place you have been moved the same report seems to come back...The Lord is good :)
Thank you again for the details to
help us pray more effectively.
love you guys
